When the Tribeca Film festival began a little over 8 years ago New York filmmakers were given an entirely new film circuit to present there work with in. Once a small event just showing at several locations through out the tribeca area. Over the years Tribeca Film Festival become one of the most influential Film festivals to date.

Tribeca strives to not only open the doors for all developed filmmakers but they also offer an incredible array of programs geared towards promoting film education to children.

CITY SCAPES

This spring, the Tribeca Film Fellows—20 dynamic young filmmakers who are invited to the Tribeca Film Festival for a backstage look at the Festival and the film industry at large—descended on all five boroughs to capture the essence of the city they live in. Presented as an introduction to Our City, My Story, Cityscapes introduces the 11 short films and pays homage to the young filmmakers featured in the program and the city that all of them live in and love.
